So why not make our own spa treatments? In my home, which I love being in! Where I can literally stay in my pajamas if I wanted. There are no judgements here.

These Ingredients Are Basically Magic

Strawberries ~ These are little red skincare powerhouses.

  • Chemical Exfoliation: Strawberries contain natural alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), like salicylic acid, which help to gently exfoliate and reduce the appearance of pores.
  • Vitamin C: Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, which helps to brighten the skin and boost collagen production.
  • Antioxidants: Strawberries are also packed with antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radical damage, which can contribute to premature aging.
  • Anti-inflammatory: The salicylic acid in strawberries has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe irritated skin and potentially reduce acne.
  • Improved Circulation: Massaging a sugar scrub into the skin can boost circulation, leading to healthier and more radiant skin.
  • Hydration and Softening: The combination of sugar and natural oils (like those in strawberries) can help to hydrate and soften the skin.

Sugar ~ Just a spoonful of sugar…

  • Exfoliation: Sugar’s granular texture effectively removes dead skin cells, improving skin texture and tone.
  • Hydration: Sugar’s humectant properties draw water into the skin, helping to keep it moisturized.
  • Brightening: By removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover, sugar scrubs can help brighten the complexion.
  • Gentle on sensitive skin: Sugar is a gentle exfoliator, making it suitable for sensitive skin types.

Coconut Oil ~ Moisturizes like a dream and makes your skin glow.

  • Deep Hydration: Coconut oil is a natural emollient, meaning it helps to soften and hydrate the skin by drawing moisture from the air.
  • Antioxidant Protection: Coconut oil contains antioxidants that help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and other environmental aggressors.
  • Skin Soothing: Coconut oil can help soothe irritated or dry skin, making it a good option for people with conditions like eczema or psoriasis.
  • Natural and Safe: Coconut oil is a natural ingredient that is generally safe for most skin types.

Vanilla Bean Paste / Essential Oil ~ Just a drizzle of deliciousness

  • Soothing and Calming: The aroma of vanilla is known for its calming and relaxing properties, which can be a great addition to a spa-like experience.
  • Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties: Vanilla bean extract contains vanillin, a polyphenol with potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that may help soothe irritated skin.
  • Scent: The delightful aroma of vanilla is a major draw for many people, making the scrub a pleasurable experience.
